If you sometimes strain your voice or feel that it does not always reflect who you are and you want to discover your vocal range and power, these courses will help you. They introduce you to the benefits of improved voice production, and how to speak clearly and manage all aspects of your voice over a full day of teaching or training.


The Voice at Work and How to avoid Vocal Strain
Duration : Two part course. Each part lasting 2 hours
Interactive awareness workshop for up to 14 people
The fewer the numbers on the course the greater the benefit to participants.

This participatory course is designed to help academic and teaching staff and trainers to understand voice production and be able to produce their voices in a safe way while adding interest and colour.

It looks at very basic physiology of the voice and will examine the importance of posture in relation to a healthy voice.


The course briefly covers:
Confidence and skill in delivery
Improved posture and presence
Improving vocal tone, clarity of speech and pace
Useful, simple relaxation exercises
Tips to keep your voice healthy
Exercises to help overcome nerves
